Oregon Coast Bank Announces Two Promotions to Vice President

Newport, OR – The Board of Directors of Oregon Coast Bank has unanimously voted to promote Eric Greenawald to the position of Vice President / Real Estate Lending and Jake Postlewait to the position of Vice President / Commercial Lending.

Eric Greenawald was born and raised in Newport and is a graduate of Newport High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon. After working as a commercial fisherman and a stockbroker, he began his career at Oregon Coast Bank in 2006 as a Management Trainee. Later that year, he was named Branch Manager of the bank’s new Lincoln City office. In December of 2012, Greenawald was promoted to his current position as Manager of Oregon Coast Bank’s Real Estate Lending Department. Eric and his wife Crystal have two children and live in Depoe Bay. Active civically, Greenawald currently serves as Treasurer for Buy Local Lincoln County and is President Elect of the Lincoln City Rotary Club.

Jake Postlewait grew up in Newport and studied Forestry Management for four years at Oregon State University. An All-Pac 10 Conference baseball pitcher for multiple seasons, Postlewait was drafted by the Colorado Rockies and spent three years in the minor leagues. Between baseball seasons he began working at Oregon Coast Bank, where he was trained in all aspects of community banking. Jake joined the bank on a permanent basis In March of 2007, working in commercial and real estate lending. In January of 2010 he became Manager of Oregon Coast Bank’s new Toledo Office, which has grown rapidly under his leadership. Residents of Toledo, Jake and his wife Liz, a teacher, have two children and a third on the way. The couple enjoys fishing, hiking and hunting in the local area. Postlewait is also known locally for his skill in taxidermy.
