Lincoln City, OR – Roxanna Jimenez, a member of the Oregon Coast Bank staff since 2009, has accepted an offer to become manager of the bank’s Lincoln City office. Prior to her most recent promotion, Jimenez served as the office’s Operations Supervisor.

Born in Los Angeles, Roxy’s family moved to the Lincoln City area more than 16 years ago. She is a graduate of Taft High School. Since she has family in Mexico, Roxy is also fluent in Spanish. Her resume includes local retail experience as well as a five year tenure at another area bank.

Married for 13 years, Roxy and her husband, Hedgar, have a six year old daughter, Sofia. The family resides in Otis, where Roxy can often be seen tending her extensive garden.

“Roxy is a great example of a person who has worked hard for years and earned her success,” explained Fred Postlewait, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oregon Coast Bank. “We are proud to have her represent our bank and take on such an important leadership role.”

“One of the nice things about being bilingual is that I get to see the delight in my customer’s eyes as they realize that there will be no communications barriers when they come into our bank,” said Jimenez. “I’m also glad to now have the opportunity to become more involved with making loans in the local community”

Since opening its first office in Newport in July of 2002, Oregon Coast Bank has grown to $182 million in assets and currently also operates offices in Lincoln City, Waldport, Pacific City and Toledo. Perhaps more importantly, the bank has provided more than $444 million in financing to local families and businesses.
