Oregon Coast Bank Provides Childcare Center For Its Employees
Newport, OR – For working parents, finding good-quality, affordable, reliable daycare can often be a challenge. Recognizing the issues that their employees faced, the management team at Oregon Coast Bank decided to do something about it. Today, the Newport-based bank is the first and only bank in the state to offer its workers a childcare center, but getting to that point was a difficult process.

Richard K. Beemer, M.D. Retires From Oregon Coast Bank Board of Directors
Newport, OR – After nine years of service, Richard K. Beemer, M.D. has retired from the Board of Directors of Oregon Coast Bank. A staunch advocate of community banking, Dr. Beemer was one of the seven founding directors of Oregon Coast Bank and served as the board’s first chairperson. A retired surgeon, Dr. Beemer was instrumental in helping the bank grow to five offices and more than $160 million in assets. During Beemer’s tenure on the board, Oregon Coast Bank invested more than $275 million into the Central Oregon Coast economy in the form of loans to local families and businesses.

Frank Brawner Retires From Oregon Coast Bank Board of Directors
Newport, OR – After nine years of service, Frank E. Brawner has retired from the Board of Directors of Oregon Coast Bank. A retired president of the Oregon Bankers’ Association, Brawner was instrumental in helping the bank grow to five offices and more than $160 million in assets. A Unique Strategy

Hundreds Celebrate Grand Opening of New Oregon Coast Bank Toledo Office
Toledo, OR – With the weather cooperating for most of the evening, a large crowd of primarily Toledo, Siletz, Eddyville, Logsden and Newport residents gathered on Thursday evening June 10 to celebrate the official Grand Opening of Oregon Coast Bank’s new Toledo office. Guests dined on salmon, cod, shrimp kabobs, fresh oysters, kielbasa, coleslaw, garlic bread, Mo’s chowder and dessert trays from Island Wild Seafoods.

Oregon Coast Bank Opens New Toledo Office
Toeldo,OR – Monday, January 11th will mark the official opening of Oregon Coast Bank’s new Toledo office, located at the intersection of NW First Street and NW A Street, across from the Toledo Post Office. Construction, which began in July, has proceeded almost perfectly on schedule, thanks to the diligent efforts of the local general contractor, Quade Construction, and several subcontractors, also from within the county.

Oregon Coast Bank Announces Key Hires For New Toledo Office
Toledo, OR – With construction of its new Toledo office proceeding rapidly, Oregon Coast Bank has added two key employees to its Toledo staff. Jodie Thompson will work directly with customers at the office’s New Accounts desk and Stephanie Boydston has been hired as a teller. Last month the bank had announced that Toledo resident Jake Postlewait would serve as Branch Manager and Robin Brown, also a Toledo resident, would be the office’s Operations Supervisor.

Waldport Community Celebration Held at Oregon Coast Bank
Waldport, OR – More than 100 area residents visited Oregon Coast Bank’s Waldport office last Friday as the bank hosted an end of summer barbecue. “We thought it was an ideal time to hold a customer appreciation event,” explained Lynn Thomson, manager of the bank’s Waldport office. “A lot of our customers are local merchants who deserve a party after having worked so hard during our heaviest tourism months.”
