After an extensive search process, which included dozens of well -qualified candidates, our Board of Directors unanimously chose Lance Nunn to become just the third President and Chief Executive Officer in Oregon Coast Bank’s history.

Over the course of the last 19 years, Oregon Coast Bank has grown from just one branch to six and now manages in excess of 400 million dollars. Perhaps more importantly, the bank has loaned out more than twice that amount to coastal families and businesses.

Lance is a strong advocate of the community banking values that have fueled the remarkable growth of Oregon Coast Bank and plans to build on that legacy with enhanced products and services for our bank’s customers.

Oregon Coast Bank is currently issuing loans at a record pace and one of Lance’s primary goals is to provide even more lending for families and business in coastal communities. If you or your business need funds, our loan officers are ready and willing to help.

Our Oregon Coast Bank team delivers a level of service that is simply unavailable at large chain banks. You can meet face to face with bank decision-makers who truly listen and understand your individual circumstances. Whether you are remodeling or buying a home, funding a business, purchasing a vehicle, upgrading a fishing vessel, or in need of a loan for a special project, call or visit us at any of our branches today. We keep decisions local, so we can work with you to make your dreams a reality.

Some have asked, “Is Oregon Coast Bank planning on selling-out to a large chain bank?” Absolutely not. Lance, the Board of Directors, and the 100+ local families who are Oregon Coast Bank stockholders understand that local decision-making and independence are exactly why OCB is able to successfully serve the needs of our coastal communities.

All of us at Oregon Coast Bank are excited to have Lance at the helm. Born and raised in Philomath, Lance and his family have deep-rooted connections to the coast. An Oregon State grad, with a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis from Portland State, Lance began his banking career more than 20 years ago as a teller. Working his way up the ladder, he served in a wide variety of banking positions for three financial institutions and as a Bank Regulator for the State of Oregon. Once a year, Lance also serves as a Banking Simulation professor for The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Lance and his wife, Jaylyn, have five young children. In rare moments of spare time, Lance loves to work on cars and is an avid surfer. So, whether you want to discuss local waves or local business opportunities, his door is always open.

Committed to the community banking values that have made Oregon Coast Bank so successful historically, Lance brings new strategic leadership for economic growth. In Lance’s’ words: “We are fiercely committed to enhancing the financial position of our customers and the communities we serve. If your bank seems to have different priorities, maybe it’s time you spoke with us.”
